Hey Heathershenhouse One of my fav teachers said "Every problem is a problem only because you call it so. In life, there are no problems- there are only situations." -Sadhguru I live by this. At least- I try to live by this. Sometimes things feel super heavy and it's harder not to get bogged down by "problems" but overall, I do pretty well. How about you? Are you letting life, elections, Facebook drama, etc get your spirit down? What are you doing to pick yourself back up? Here is what I personally do to "fluff my aura" and get my attitude back on track: - Read inspirational books each morning. (My fav is The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran)
- Meditate daily- use a mantra to give your brain something to focus on.
- Turn the computer off. Just get off of it.
- Turn off all notifications on your phone.
- Take a hot shower or bath.
- Remind myself "This too shall pass."
- Use essential oils to fill my home with good scents.
- Get outside of the house.... take a drive, go to the beach/park, take a hike.
- Sit in complete silence for a few minutes.
- Paint- you can do whatever creative medium you prefer.
- Attend a GONG bath or yoga class!
By the way- these are just a few things you can do and you'll want to do these types of things DAILY! Do them daily so you'll be less likely to get dragged down into the negativity! I hope this helps! :) Sending you loads of love and inspiration, Heather xo |
