From love or For love? Which is correct?

Hey Heathershenhouse From love or For love? Which is correct? What's the difference? When we do things FOR love, we may act in ways that don't align with our values. It comes from a self serving place and often makes us act out of desperation.  Things like.... Staying in an abusive relationship Sleeping with people that don't care about you.  Allowing people to take advantage of you. Giving more than you can afford. Not taking care of yourself so you can "take care" of others.  Self-medicating.  Ignoring your intuition. Doing things just because you're afraid of confrontation.  When we do things FROM love, we are not reacting. We are coming from a place of deep concern and care for others and acting in service to the greater good.  Things like...  Loving yourself enough to walk away from abuse.  Loving people enough to say NO to things that you know are harmful to you or them.  Becoming self-aware so as not to enable bad behavior. (Co-dependent) Caring for yourself.  Creating boundaries that don't allow people to take advantage of you. Having a deep connection with your soul / God / Universe / Higher Power. Allowing people to make bad decisions and not rescuing all the time. Listening to your own intuition.  Being OK alone.  It can be difficult to discern the difference but with practice you'll get better!  Thad and I will be discussing this topic this evening in our Live Inspired Now group at 7pm.
