Oh thank GOD....

Hey Heathershenhouse Oh thank GOD that Covid cut my year long road trip short!  It's not that I wasn't enjoying it. It's not that I didn't want it to last longer.... It's just that... I'd rather have had my trip cut short than to never had gone at all. It was a big thing to sell our family home and everything we own, buy an RV and decide to live in a 100 sq foot traveling box away from our friends and family.  Buttttt.... It would have been way harder to live with the regret of not doing it. We could still be sitting in a home way too big for us and dreaming of a tiny home life on the road.  Instead, we took the risk and although it was cut short by COVID, I am SOOOOO grateful that we did it!  What are you dreaming of but afraid to pull the trigger on?  If 2020 has taught me anything, it's that shit can go wrong real quick and the more adaptable we are, the easier we will get through change and challenge!  So, what are you dreaming about doing?  Hit reply to this email or hit me up on social media!  PS: Did you see my grandson??? It's heartbreaking... 😢 💔 😢 💔

Hey Heathershenhouse OK, so not my typical email but there are children that need our help and I have a grandbaby arriving within 1 week so I'm especially concerned about the safety of our young people!! There is an organization called Operation Underground Railroad ( O.U.R. ) that rescues kids from human trafficking.  Each year millions of people are trafficked for slavery, labor or sex acts. It doesn't just happen in "bad areas" to under-privileged people. Women, men and children are literally trafficked in all parts of our country and no one is completely immune to the risks.  I've decided to support O.U.R. because they actually go undercover and rescue thousands of humans each year and they need our help to do more.  There are several ways you can help!  I started a campaign with a goal of raising $5000 by the end of the year. You can make a financial contribution here: https://my.ourrescue.org/fundraisers/live-inspired-now-team   You can also take their online training to recognize signs of trafficking and how to handle it if you come in contact with a victim. After you've done the online training, you can sign up to volunteer if you want to. The online training is under an hour but very thorough!  I hate that trafficking is a thing. But I am grateful that I have people like you in my circle that are willing to do whatever it takes to make the world a better and safer place! Advice from my teacher...

Hey Heathershenhouse One of my fav teachers said "Every problem is a problem only because you call it so. In life, there are no problems- there are only situations." -Sadhguru I live by this. At least- I try to live by this. Sometimes things feel super heavy and it's harder not to get bogged down by "problems" but overall, I do pretty well.  How about you?  Are you letting life, elections, Facebook drama, etc get your spirit down? What are you doing to pick yourself back up?  Here is what I personally do to "fluff my aura" and get my attitude back on track: Read inspirational books each morning. (My fav is The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran) Meditate daily- use a mantra to give your brain something to focus on. Turn the computer off. Just get off of it. Turn off all notifications on your phone.  Take a hot shower or bath.  Remind myself "This too shall pass."  Use essential oils to fill my home with good scents. Get outside of the house.... take a drive, go to the beach/park, take a hike. Sit in complete silence for a few minutes. Paint- you can do whatever creative medium you prefer.  Attend a GONG bath or yoga class!   By the way- these are just a few things you can do and you'll want to do these types of things DAILY!
